Beginnings Of Birth Pains!

We are living right now in the days of what Jesus Christ calls, “the beginning’s of birth pains” or in the KJV “the beginning of sorrows.” These are all part of sign’s of the end-times, pointing to the rapture of the church and the great tribulation.

Mathew 24:6-8 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nations will rise against Nations, and Kingdoms against kingdoms.”

Need not to say anything about this. For the whole world knows, that war is in our midst. By reading news papers, watching the news on TV. Internet, Radio, or even for some of us, opening our front door is as live news as you can get. Including war within, here in of the U.S. (A divisive war). The Book of Revelation states clearly:

Revelation 6:4 Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. It’s rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.

Lets come back to, Mathew 24:7-8 There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginnings of birth pains.

Famines are rampant all over the world. Africa, Ethiopia, Peru, and Seoul (North Korea,) are just some who suffer from hunger and famine. 9 million die because of hunger. 1.2 billion suffer from hunger. 2 to 3.5 billion suffer from micronutrient deficiency (which is the lack of vitamins and minerals in the body). The Book of Revelation once again states:

Revelation 6:8 Behold a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over the fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.

Earthquakes are also happening all over the world, even in places that don’t have earthquakes normally. Like Iran for example: in 2004 an earthquake completely destroyed an old, nearly to ancient city. According to the USGS reports the number of earthquakes in the magnitude of a 3.0 to 3.9 globally:

in the year of: 2000; (4784). 2001; ( 6151). 2002; (7005). 2003; (7624). 2004; (7932). 2005; (9165).

The number of earthquakes in the magnitude of a 5.0 to 5.9,

in the year of: 2000; (1345). 2001; (1243). 2002; (1218). 2003; (1202). 2004; (1515). 2005; (1700).

And we can safely say that earthquakes mentioned in Mathew 24:7 is generally speaking of natural disasters as a whole.

We’ve seen an uprising of earthquakes, and tornadoes. America hold’s the world’s record of hurricanes than any where else in the world in 2005. Not to mention also tsunami’s that has hit in various places of the world. And Jesus concludes, “All these are the beginnings of birth pains.”

Jesus used this analogy to demonstrate how it is. Imagine a pregnant woman at 9 months. The first set of contractions are generally mild in pain and sporadic in time. Another words, few and far in between; if you will.

But as time goes by and the woman is about to give birth, the contractions are so painful and so close to each other, that no one can stand it.

That’s how it is today with these sign’s of the end times. As far as now is concerned, we are in the middle of one of the contractions of the many that has passed, and more to come… We still have not seen anything yet!
