This is a continuation of our last study: Revelation 1:20 (Angels)

Different Colored Angels?

If you ask anyone on the streets today, about holy angels, most will say, ‘They are all white or light-complected.” Because most people naturally associate white as the color of holiness, because light is commonly white. But the Holy Bible reveals that there are brass-colored holy angels also,

Ezekiel 40:3 And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.

Angels Are Not To Be Prayed To Nor Worshipped

Most importantly, angels are not to be prayed to nor worshiped. Only God Most High is to be prayed to. Jesus Christ teaches us we are to pray to Father God in Jesus Christ’s name,

John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask Me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in My name, He will give it you.

God Most High and Jesus Christ are to be to worshipped and praised. God forbids any of His creation to be worshipped

Exodus 20:1-6 And God spake all these words saying, I Am the LORD thy God, which brought you out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

Thou shalt not make unto thee, any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: For I the LORD thy God Am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me.

And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me and keep My commandments.

Revelation 22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this Book: worship God

Deuteronomy 17:2-3 If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which the LORD thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the LORD thy God, in transgressing His covenant

And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;

Therefore, God forbids anyone to worship angels. Worship is only reserved for the one and only true God of Abraham; Isaac; and Jacob, not only in Spirit, but also by what we do, say and think that glorifies our Creator God.

Angels Waits On God’s Instructions

All angels were created by God with a free will, to be His servants. Holy angels await on God’s instructions only. They choose to serve God, which is what they are created for. And they choose not to do anything in their own will.

Psalms 91:11 For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Even satan and all demons are subject to God’s authority. Remember this, you will see this when we study the great tribulation period.

But what we will cover now, satan is in subjection to God’s authority always, even before His defeat at the cross of Jesus Christ. It is illustrated all throughout the Holy Bible, God has satan and His kingdom on a leash! This is especially illustrated in,

Job 1:6-12 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto satan, Whence comest thou? Then satan answered the LORD, and said,

From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And the LORD said unto satan, Hast thou considered My servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Then satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? Hast Thou not made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side?

Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth Thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse Thee to Thy face.

And the LORD said, unto satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

Soon after satan went out from the presence of the LORD, back out into the earth, the Sabians killed Job’s servants. Fire fell from heaven, burning up all his sheep and more of his servants. The Chaldeans stole Job’s camels and killed more of his servants.

A great wind destroys a house Job’s sons and daughters were in, killing them all. This all happened in one day. Talking about a bad day?

And when this all happened, after Job tore his clothes, cursed the day he was born; it is written of Job in, Job 1:22 In all this Job sinned not, Nor charged God foolishly.

Job 2:1-7 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and satan came also before the LORD.

And the LORD said unto satan, From whence comest thou? And satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

And the LORD said unto satan, Hast thou considered My servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

And still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst Me against him without cause.

And satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. But put forth Thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse Thee to Thy face.

And the LORD said unto satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life. So went satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

So, we see here, that the devil cannot do anything to Job without the permission of God. If God did that for Job, then He also does this for all His righteous today. He is no respecter of persons.

The devil can do nothing to anyone until you give him permission. Sin is His gateway into your life. Going with the ebb and flow of this wicked and adulterous world, and of the flesh is his foothold into your life.

The world is his battle field, your mind; heart and soul is his mission field; and this is how he is able to manipulate, pervert and control the creation of God, by people giving him permission to do so. And that’s why there is so much evil happening in the world today.

So again; we see that satan can do nothing on this earth without God Most High’s permission. We will see this in future studies of the great tribulation period. Because, even there, God is in control of all things still… to the very end of the world.

There Are Also Unholy Angels

Also, you need to take note of this as part of this study. Just as there are holy angels, the same can be also said of the angels of darkness, also commonly known as demons who once were holy, but became evil.

Remember in our last study, I mentioned that there is another place in the Book of Revelation, where it mentions stars as angels? It’s found in Revelation 12.

You may have heard over the years, a story about how Lucifer rebelled against God, and was cast out of heaven with a 3rd of all holy angels that followed Lucifer in his rebellion; and ended up on earth.

Where we get that from specifically, is no other place than,

Revelation 12:3-4 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

So, notice first of all “wonder in Heaven,” which is, “a great red dragon.” This dragon is none other than Lucifer, who was once a holy angel until iniquity was found in his heart. All this originated from Heaven (the dwelling place of God), first.

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her Child as soon as it was born.

The Holy Bible reveals in this passage of Scripture many revelations here. But what we will be focusing on briefly is, “his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven”

The number of fallen angels is a 3rd of all holy angels. We do not know the exact entire number of all holy angels that were created by God.

There is however, one clue written in the entire Holy Bible of how many are left after the rebellion and fall. But still doesn’t really give us an exact amount. The Apostle John writes:

Revelation 5:11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

The way this was written, is not from John’s personally counting of these angels one by one and gave us an exact number to calculate.

But more like, he saw many, many; many multitudes of holy angels and based on a guess, He guesstimates “ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;” (because this statement is so general and not specific)

So, if you do the math on what he gives us, it would add up to about 181,000,000 holy angels or so. I’m sure there’s a lot more than that, but again, we do not know the exact numbers of them to figure out what a third calculates.

Also notice the red dragon’s tail “drew the third part of the stars of heaven.” This word “drew” is specific. And there are a lot of meanings behind the word “draw,” depending on its usage.

“drew” is obviously the past tense word for “draw.” And this is correctly used here, because this event happened before the nation of Israel ever became a nation through the patriarchs of Abraham, Isaac; and Jacob; long ago of the Old Testament, since the dragon stood before the woman (the nation of Israel).

To try to keep the world from the promised Messiah Jesus Christ to come into this world by the virgin birth in the flesh, conceived by the Holy Spirit in His first advent.

Also, it’s usage here fits one out of many definitions, ‘To allure; to entice; to persuade; or cause to follow. This gives us a picture, that Lucifer somehow caused the third of the holy angels to follow behind him.

Most likely enticed them, allured them to follow him through lies and deception. Why? Because he is a liar and the father of all lies and liars as it is written,

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Which makes total sense. This is how the devil’s kingdom started? This is how it all began: All angels were created by God Most High and Jesus Christ; and they were all holy.

This is summarized when God (Elohim) finished creating Heaven, the universe and earth in, Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host (holy angels) of them.

So sometime after the creation of the heavens, the earth and all Holy angels, did this rebellion in Heaven occur, since iniquity (pride and rebellion) was found in the heart of Lucifer.

Ezekiel 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Thus, Revelation 12:3-4 shows us the last glimpse that he was cast down to the earth with the third of the holy angels that followed him.

And at that moment on, God changed his name from Lucifer (which means in Hebrew: ‘Angel of Light’) to satan (which means in Hebrew: ‘Enemy; adversary.’)

Because we see in Isaiah 14:12 that Lucifer was cast to the “ground” which is the earth, meaning fallen from Heaven, and he is also the serpent which was not named specifically in Genesis 3.

This chain of events caused man to be born into this world with a sin nature, and handed Adam’s dominion over to the devil until Jesus Christ died on the cross, destroying the devil’s authority and dominion on the earth.

Later on, in the Holy Bible though, after Genesis 3 the devil was named as satan found in Job 1:6. How do we know the serpent of Genesis 3 is the devil named satan? Revelation 12:9 gives us this specific answer

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil, and satan, which deceived the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him

Thus, he is no longer called Lucifer, but satan; the devil. Because he is no longer an Angel of Light, but now he is the angel of darkness, the enemy of God, Jesus Christ and Christianity.

And he has been at war with God and his children ever since, as God Most High outlined in his cursing of the serpent in

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel.

This is the first prophecy pointing to Jesus Christ and His church. “her seed” is not only pointing to the virgin birth of Jesus Christ in the flesh (His first advent), but also pointing to His church.

“It” meaning, the church and the kingdom of God through Jesus Christ shall bruise the devil’s head. But the devil will only bruise Jesus Christ and His church’s’ heal.

Which is also revealed Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

So, from this rebellion that took place in Heaven, the devil was cast down to the ground (the earth) with the third of the holy angel with him.

Thus, that separation between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of the devil began. That separation between holy and demonic angels was born. And both kingdoms are contending for the souls of mankind; to Heaven or to Hell.

Which brings us to this next point, remember a specific detail about angels from our last study. How they can be invisible in our physical realm.

And how the Holy Bible refers to them as spirit’s; which explains why we cannot see these angelic celestial beings, unless God chooses to reveal them?

In the demonic world of satan, these angelic spirits are what we call ghosts; apparitions or spirits.

Ghosts are not what you think they are. If you ask people on the street today, the majority would commonly say, ‘Ghosts are deceased loved ones that are lingering between our physical realm and the eternal realm.’

There are many people who claim their relatives are with them in spirit. I hate to break this to you, but the Holy Bible addresses this issue in,

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

This is specifically showing us that when we all die, we will go into that eternal realm and will stand before God in Judgment and have to give an account of our lives before Him, immediately after death.

Thus, the Holy Bible never taught that souls of deceased people linger around on earth until some sort of closure is worked out, or justice is served.

Or until they pay their penance if you will; or until they are prayed into Heaven. That’s total religious lies and Hollywood nonsense and garbage.

What we call ghosts, are actually what the Holy Bible calls “familiar spirits” is none other than speaking to or sensing demonic angels, disguising themselves to be your deceased loved ones and friends, usually through mediums, channeling, séance and Ouija boards.

People who died are no longer here on earth in any way, shape or form. They are either in Paradise of God with Jesus Christ, or in Hell. And that’s it! Ghost chasers are chasing demonic angels.

Even God Most High warns and rebukes communing with the dead, what the occult calls séance and channeling. Because you’re communicating with demons and not ghosts of the deceased human dead.

“Ghosts” are one of many tactics of satan. And they are here to serve satan’s agenda to deceive, to confuse, to create a distraction and lead people astray from the truth and from the pathway to Heaven through Jesus Christ.

Just as holy angels are active in Heaven, the universe and on earth, so is satan’s demonic angels at work on earth also.

Their work in the spiritual realm does physically affect people on earth one way or another. Usually through people of oppression, obsession, depression and/or demonic possession.

This is why it is written in Ephesians 6:11-12 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

We also see in the Book of Revelation, there will be satan’s entire angelic army, released from the bottomless pit in the near future.

And will be very active in the great tribulation period, to bring physical, mental, and emotional torment of people for five months. And this is how they are described to look like in the spirit,

Revelation 9:7-10 And the shapes of the locust were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.

And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails; and their power was to hurt men five months.

And as there are holy angels of: worship; protection, ministering, messenger and warring angels; the same can also be said of satan’s kingdom as well. Remember this in future studies.

Everything that God created and instituted, satan counterfeits, takes over, perverts or manipulates. All because satan has no power to create.

But he can only counterfeit, pervert, take over and manipulate what has already been created by God as we and God give him permission to do so. And that is the absolute truth!

You see, God Most High and Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son. Creator of the Heavens, earth and the sea’s and all that are in them, told us everything we need to know through His Holy Bible.

He left nothing out to our imaginations. He knew way ahead of time, that humanity throughout our ages would be wrestling with truth and lies.

He saw how satan’s kingdom of darkness would influence and manipulate humanity with lying ministering angels, perverting God’s holy truth, bringing forth confusion and chaos in the process.

Thus God has spoken the words of truth, inspired holy men to write His holy words called the Holy Bible, by the inspiration of His Holy Spirit.

To reveal to His righteous children the truth. And empowers His ministers to preach, teach and minister to the world the truth; combating satan and his lies.
