With the Love for God and for one another, Faithfulness, the fear of God, unity and fellowship, came the power of the Holy Spirit, Acts 4:23-31 And being let go, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them. So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord (corporate prayer) and said: “Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them, who by the mouth of Your servant David have said: ‘Why did the nations rage, And the people plot vain things? The kings of the earth took their stand, And the rulers were gathered together against the Lord and against His Christ.’

For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done. Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

They all prayed, crying out corporately aloud for boldness, so they can go out and evangelize the community, not keeping to themselves inside four walls of an upper room. They truly had the heart to share the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ and understood that they needed boldness and the power of the Holy Spirit to do so. They also recognized that they needed the Holy Spirit, the anointing of the Most High God to reach the hard hearted heathen and pagan with the demonstration of the power of God in order to be an effective and glorious witness against the kingdom of darkness of this fallen world.

They remembered what Jesus Christ taught, John 14:12-14 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

Mark 16:14-18 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

We need to remember what He has taught His disciples then, today. Because I’m speaking under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, we need to reach the lost with this same anointing that has been promised not only for yesterday, in the days of the Book of Acts, but desperately for today as well, and even more so than ever before!

Signs, wonders and miracles has not died with the last Apostle! Has not died in the first century! God is still looking for a willing vessels, an instrument of righteousness He can use (His true church without spot, wrinkle, or any such blemish) to pour out His Holy Spirit unto. So He can save this generation from going to Hell and the Lake of Fire, just like in the days of the Book of Acts! God still uses ordinary people for His use, to do extraordinary things according to His perfect plans, purpose and will!

He is still searching for His obedient bride. Because in this day and hour we need God’s signs, wonders and miracles to convince and testify His Word we preach as the absolute truth under the anointing and subjection of The Holy Spirit in this last generation! Going out with a word alone is not good enough. The Apostle Paul bestowed unto us today this revelation of wisdom that will revolutionize our faith in Christ ever-so increasingly.

1 Corinthians 1:21-25 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”

But here’s the point since Jews look for sign and Greeks (Gentiles) seek after wisdom:

1 Corinthians 2:1-5 And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

But in order to be used like this, we are to live holy and righteously according to God’s holy and righteous standards from His Holy Bible daily. Not just for reasons of keeping salvation. Not just to represent God as ambassadors. And not just for the sake of hypocrisy, or to please God Most High. But we are to live holy in order to be effective for the kingdom of God as well, demonstrating the real and awesome power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And to demonstrate how and alive He is really is today in us through us and around us, in the workings of His Holy Spirit as His ambassadors. Not just individually, but corporately also, the body of Christ Jesus our King, Lord and Shepherd! To be effective and glorious against the powers of darkness in this last generation.

So how does the true church of Jesus Christ becomes the holy, glorious church that He is coming for, before the tribulation period begins? By going back to the basics. The basic building blocks of our faith in Jesus Christ. What His Word has taught and continues to teach us, as long as we continue to abide in Him. Such as: repentance, then submission unto God and of His Holy Spirit as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ, following the call of discipleship. Followed by getting our priorities straight with God’s will, and plan as He purposed in us (Our Priorities).

Getting to know God Most High through reading and studying His Holy Word cover to cover, year after year for the rest of our lives, faithfully. Because this relationship we have with God is like marriage between a husband and wife. Without reading His Word there is no convictions because the Holy Spirit convicts through His Word (The Importance of God’s Holy Bible). Finding out what sin and abominations are in the sight of God, so we can be holy and pleasing to God, undergoing His Holy Spirits process of sanctification. Having a real and true fellowship with God our Father/Creator (The Importance of God’s Holy Bible part 2). Knowing that we can put our trust in Jesus Christ, and heeding the warnings God as He already set before us. Learning how to walk the narrow road (The Importance of God’s Holy Bible part 3).

Learning how to be strong in the Lord (The Importance of Prayer). Learning the basics of why we pray (The Importance of Prayer part 2). Learning how to pray effectively (Praying Effectually) and powerfully as we enter into real serious spiritual warfare (Prayer Is Spiritual Warfare). Finding out why church is so important in our lives today (The Importance of Church) Learning to be alert, Being ready continually for that day when the Lord Jesus appears in the clouds for His glorious bride. And it all starts with each of us individually under God.

You see, born-again Christians read and study the Holy Bible, pray and go to church faithfully in order to be strengthened, witness the Gospel of Jesus Christ powerfully and effectively, while standing against adversities of all types and shadows, as we see the day growing dim.
