The Difference Between The Children Of God, And The Children Of The devil:
And it’s evident, who is from whom.
1 John 2:3-27
“We know that we have come to know Him (,that is: Jesus the Christ,) if we obey His commands. The man who says, I know Him but does not do what He commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys His word, God’s love is truly made complete in Him. This is how we know we are in Him: Who ever claims to live in Him must walk as Jesus did. (we are called to be conformed into the image, and likeness of Christ Jesus. This is a life long process called sanctification, through the power of God’s Holy Spirit. This process does not give any one of us, who has Christ Jesus’ Word and Spirit, who knows better, license to deliberately sin against the Lord. Meaning, to freely sin, and then confess it in order to be forgiven, to sin freely some more) Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother (,fellow believer of Christ, both men and women,) is still in the darkness. Who ever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble. But whoever hates his brother is in darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him.”
Verse: 15 -27 says,
“Do not love the world or anything in the world, (meaning, the sins and things causes people to sin. the thought patterns of the world; world philosophies, which for the most part are lies and foolish talk and pride. Or anything that cause one to sin. Idolatry.) If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world – the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does- comes not from the Father but from the world. The World and it’s desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. (eternal life in Heaven.) Dear children, (addressing the saints of God. The children of God,) this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming. Even now many antichrists have come. This is how you know it is the last hour. They (,meaning the antichrists,) went out from us, but they did not really belong to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belong to us. But you (,the true saints of God and Christ,) have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. (Why? Because the true saint of Christ, reads the Word of God, and through the Word of God, they, knows the truth.) I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. Who is a liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ, such a man is the antichrist. He denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. (the word “acknowledged,” used here, meaning if you know Christ Jesus, the ways He does things and acknowledge His ways, acknowledge His commandments then, you do what He does and did.) See that what you have heard from the beginning (, the Gospel message of Jesus the Christ,) remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what He promised us— eternal life. I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. As for you, the anointing (,the Holy Spirit of God Almighty,) you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit – just as it has been taught you, remain in Him.”
1 John 3:4-15
“Every one who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that He (,the Lord Jesus the Christ,) appeared so that He might take away our sins. (the word, “might,” suggests that salvation comes from one’s own choice and by faith in Christ Jesus.) And in Him is no sin. No one who lives in Him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen Him or knows Him. Dear Children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil. Because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devils work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, Because Gods seed (,the Holy Spirit,) remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. This how we know who the children of God and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. (Fellow believers in Christ Jesus.)
You see the difference between the children of God and the children of the devil, described here, is that the child of God, hates to sin. And when we do sin, we grieve the Holy Spirit of God that dwells in the true believers and followers of Christ. God then disciplines us, either after or before we confess our sins to the Father, asking for His forgiveness, wiping the slate clean before Him. As this process continues, than we become trained by God, what pleases Him and what displeases Him. And we don’t continue in those sins, for it displeases God. We truly then become God conscience. The children of the devil however, has little or no conscience to care whether they sin or not. They also obviously do not have this God connection that true believers and followers of Christ do have. Because they do not have the Holy Spirit in them.
This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. Do not be like Cain, (the murderer of his own brother. His own flesh and blood. He is considered to be the “murderer of the brethren.”) who belonged to the evil one and murdered his own brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother’s were righteous. Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers (,the body of Christ. For this love is not limited to your congregation only.) Any one who hates his brother is a murderer and you know that no murderer has eternal life in Him.”
1 John 4:1-6
“Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, (the word, “flesh,” means flesh and blood and bone, who came into the world in the likeness of mankind. Not referring to the sin nature,) but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. You, dear children, are from God and have over come them (,”them,” meaning: the world of sin. Remember: whatever has mastery over a person, that person is a slave to that master. The master in the world is the devil, sin. So the world is a slave to the master, which is sin. And sin is of the devil, not of God,) because the one who is greater than the one who is in the world. They are from the world and therefore speaks from the viewpoints of the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us: This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.”
Further more: 1 John 5:18-20
“We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe , and the evil one cannot harm him. (this is a promise, for the life of the one who has given his or her heart to Christ Jesus completely. These are just one of many blessing from the Lord. A lot of Believers of Christ believes that, persecution is evil. But it is not. In fact it is good for us, to go through such things, because it strengthens out faith. Our perspective is all wrong. Persecution is not evil. Struggle is not evil. Rebuke and correction is not evil. To further study this, I have available on Audio Cd, the importance of persecution, called” “From The Pit To The Palace” and “Be Fruitful And Multiply.” If you want a copy of these cd‘s, just email me and I will send it out to you. But all these things are not evil, but they are for our own good. So we tend to misquote this word of God, That: “I’m a child of God, and no harm will befall me. Not even persecution.” No! what is meant here is that, the lord will not allow premature death, before your time, until all things that the Lord wants you to do, comes to pass fully, as an example. You may have close calls, but harm will not come upon you. Like accidents and so forth.) We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true. (who lacks understanding? The one who continues to sin. For understanding means: ‘to shun evil; to run away from evil, according to: Job 28:28. The Fear of the Lord is to Hate evil: Proverbs 8:13. That is why it is the beginning of wisdom. Proverbs 1:7. It is also promised that if you lack wisdom and understanding, if you ask with faith to God, He will give it to you without measure: James 1:5-8. And it is now proven from this point, that the church lacks wisdom and understanding. Lacks the Lord. For they have replaced the relationship with Lord Jesus the Christ for religion. Religion allows sin, Why? Because they preach a false Gospel that, “as long as you confess your sins to a priest, a pastor. Than you will be forgiven.’ But this teaching is very dangerous, because it gives us the insinuation that God gives us license to sin and to continue, but will be forgiven as long as we confess it. This is wrong! This is a lie! And that is why God through, the Apostle John wrote: ‘that any one who continues to sin is not from God.’ The difference of those born again; born of God, is, number one, we have the Holy Spirit,. And number two, that we hate to sin. And when we do, we hate that sin in our lives and we do tolerate it, and we throw it out of our lives in Christ, completely. Those not born of God, not only tolerates sin, but toys with sin. And nurtures sin, as if it were a cute little new born child. They celebrate it without conviction. That is the difference between the two.)
As the Word of God continues to say in: 1 John 5:20
“And we are in Him who is true-even in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. Dear children, keep yourselves from Idols.”
This is the difference between the children of the devil and the children of God. It is too clear to miss it.
*Now another sin of the Church that God has on His heart at this time, is Fear. Fear is sin. Those who fear in any given situation, is sinning against the Lord. The Word of God clearly commands: Fear not! “Do not fear! And “Do not be afraid!”
In the Holy Word of God, there is 149 commands under the phrase, “fear not!” in any given situation humanity has ever faced, and will ever face! 52 commands under the phrase, “do not fear.” And 104 commands under the phrase, “do not be afraid,” in the New King James Version of the Holy Word of God. Which equals out to be 303 Commands by God on the subject of fear. And to add, that fear in reality is rebellion. So under the phrase “do not rebel, in the New King James Version, 5 is found. So, as far as I personally found 308 in all. And there could be a few more. But at the least, 308 commands under this subject.
Fear also attacks faith. And if fear destroys your faith or at the least paralyses faith, than how can you be saved. For in order to be saved, you must have faith in Christ Jesus our Lord, continuing faith. As the saying goes: “fear tolerated, is faith contaminated!” Also fear, is the ultimate sign of lacking trust in God. This is what is promised to those who puts their trust in God and in Christ Jesus.
“Praise the LORD. Blessed (blessed is another word for, “happy, complete”) is the man who fears the LORD, who finds great delight in his commands. His children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for the gracious and compassionate and righteous man. (meaning humanity.) Good will come to him who is generous and lends freely, who conducts his affairs with justice. Surely he will never be shaken; a righteous man will be remembered forever. He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, (Why? Because he or she is,) trusting in the LORD. His heart is secure, he will have no fear; in the end he will look in triumph on his foes. He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor, his righteousness endures forever; his horn (, is another word for strength,) will be lifted high in honor. The wicked man will see and be vexed, he will gnash his teeth and waste away; the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.”
Trust is also used in the Bible as the word, ” dwell or refuge.”
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, your dwelling place, (Pay close attention to this. For these promises are to those who puts there trust in the Lord completely.) No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. (in this next passage, the Lord God Almighty is speaking directly to all)
Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”
So God has commanded us not to fear, period!
*Complacency is sin. Complacency: ‘Contentment; often specific, self satisfaction, or smugness.’ (according to the Webster’s New World Dictionary.) The Lord God Almighty Himself has warned us in His Word about this in, first to the Jews in”
Amos 6:1-7 Woe to the Complacent
“Woe to you who are complacent in Zion, and to you who feel secure on Mount Samaria, you notable men of the foremost nation, to whom the people of Israel come! Go to Calneh and look at it; go from there to great Hamath, and then go down to Gath in Philistia. Are they better off than your two kingdoms? Is their land larger than yours? You put off the evil day and bring near a reign of terror. You lie on beds inlaid with ivory and lounge on your couches. You dine on choice lambs and fattened calves. You strum away on your harps like David and improvise on musical instruments. You drink wine by the bowlful and use the finest lotions, but you do not grieve over the ruin of Joseph. Therefore you will be among the first to go into exile; your feasting and lounging will end.”
This, not only goes for the Jews of the Old Testament days. But now for all peoples, who proclaims to know Christ and God, and, who actually does, both Jew and Gentile. And does this not sound like America today? America! Listen to the word of the Lord! “Your feasting and lounging will end!” thus says the Lord.
Another warning is also found in: Luke 12:16-21
“And He (,Lord Jesus,) told them this parable: ‘The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop. He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’ “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.” ‘ “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ “This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God.”
Called To Holiness
We the body of Christ, are called to be different. Called to be Holy in the sight of God. Not to play act. Holiness, every time we meet, and after church to allow the flesh have it’s will all week long or until we meet again is called hypocrisy. Lying, which is also mentioned in the 10 commandments. Because in reality, no mater how we all look at it, Hypocrisy is lying. It is practicing falsehood.
“You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.”
And again in: Revelation 22:12-15
“Behold, I Am coming soon! My reward is with Me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” “Blessed are those who wash their robes (,Repents,) that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city (,the city of the new Jerusalem in the new Heaven). Outside (,away from Heaven. The ones who did make it into Heaven,) are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.”
So what does it mean to be Holy than? Holy: ‘Moral and ethical wholeness or perfection; freedom from moral evil. Holiness is one of the essential elements of God’s nature, required of His People. (His children.) Holiness may also be rendered “sanctification,” or, “godliness.” (Which simply means: ‘Devoted to God,’ according to the Webster’s New World Dictionary.) The word Holy denotes that which is “sanctified” or, “set apart” for divine service.’ (according to the: “Nelsons Illustrated Dictionary Of The Bible.”)
It doesn’t mean, ‘holier than thou,’ ‘I’m above all, because I get it, and am better than all.’ For that would be pride, which is evil, and which God Almighty cannot stand. Nor does it insinuate such things. People out side of God, accuses one to be such. For they are being used by the devil, to get us to be ashamed of Christ. That is one of the tactics of the devil. Or even uses that line, to put in thoughts, that you are higher than all, to bring into our lives pride, or is trying to get is to believe the lie, that we cannot reach those who do not know Christ Jesus. So you have to sin in order to know what you are talking about, in order to reach the lost. This is another lie from the devil. I wouldn’t doubt, why the church is in such a state, in which we have believed the lie. That the church lost our relevance in the world. So we allow the ways of world into the church, so we can look cool. Be cool. Gain the acceptance of the world and, be modern and relevant. Not to mention, that Christ Jesus Himself had prophesied the great apostasy in:
“At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.”
The reason for apostasy, is that we have strayed away from the Lord. We have grown cold in the Lord. We have become fearful in the Lord. We have become complacent in the Lord. We allowed false teachers to teach. We failed to recognize false prophets, false teachers, false evangelists, false pastors and false apostles, who are not called by God Almighty in the first place. And we have allowed them in our midst. And because of all this, we have failed to recognize what is truth verses a lie. All because the body of Christ today has not read the Word of God. And so with that, believers are susceptible to believing the lie rather than the truth. We have traded the very essence of true Christianity, the true life blood of true Christianity, which is having a real and true relationship with God Almighty, through His Only Begotten Son Lord Jesus the Christ for religion. We have sinned in all this, which brought about, the apostate conditions of the now.
Also, it is written: 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come (,the day of the Lords coming,) unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, (the antichrist,) who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” (the false God that is.)
We can be modern, but not compromising the Word Of God. We can be relevant, but not compromising godly character, convictions and, or, godly integrity.
“For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Me will find it. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in His Father’s glory with His angels, and then He will reward each person according to what he has done.”
1 John 2:15-17
“Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.”
And in: 1 Corinthians 10:21
“No But the sacrifice of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demon too; You cannot have part in both the Lords table and the table of demons. Are we trying to arouse the Lords jealousy? Are we stronger than He?”
This is an interesting statement to the church, once again, serving as a reminder. You cannot have one foot in the world, or, another words, Hell. And one foot in Heaven. You cannot serve two masters. You cannot be luke warm. Either hot or cold, but never luke warm. That’s what the Lord prefers. For luke warmness is hypocrisy. And if you are a hypocrite, and claims to be a Christian. Do us all, the true disciples of Christ Jesus and Himself a favor. Acknowledge your wicked ways that is contrary to the Holy Word of God and you know it. Repent and turn back to the Lord. And get right with God, and truly live for Him strongly, fully. Or completely remove yourself from God and your confession of Christ. For you O’ hypocrite, are ruining the true testimony of Christ Jesus, just by what you say, which does not add up to the walk. For you do not practice what you preach. You are a hypocrite, a liar, and in error. And by this, you make God Almighty out to be a liar in the world. Your Judgment will be severe when you stand before God alone.
You cannot drink the cup of Christ and the cup of demons. The cup of Christ is actually referring to, as the: “cup of suffering.” To suffer as Christ had suffered. To deny yourself and pick up your cross and follow Christ Jesus our Lord. This a command. A requirement, if you are truly serious of Christ Jesus our Lord. The cup of demons is the exact opposite. The cup of demons, demands your allegiance to the fulfilling of the sinful desire, the sinful nature of the flesh. To put into high priority, comfort, decadence and wealth above all things. Another words, it demands worship, which is Idolatry. Worship of self. Which is against God Almighty and His commandments. But it has a high price. The price tag is too great for anyone to pay. For the flesh cannot ever be completely satisfied. It always wants more. It is a bottomless pit. It has an insatiable appetite for more. Which leads to the second death. The lake of Fire, Hell for all eternity. For the Word of God says:
‘For the wages of sin is death, (which proves the point,) but the gift of God is eternal life in (,and the word, “in,” is emphasized,) Christ Jesus our Lord.”
There is a price to pay for true salvation, and to keep salvation. There are conditions in keeping salvation For there is no where in the bible that ever teaches the: “once saved, always saved, no matter what you did, doctrine, or another words teachings. As it is written:
Hebrews 3:7-15 Warning Against Unbelief
“So, as the Holy Spirit says: (,and is still saying today for Jews and gentiles,) “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the desert, where your fathers tested and tried me and for forty years saw what I did. That is why I was angry with that generation, and I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways.’ So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.’ ” See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ if (here’s the condition of salvation,) if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first. (the faith in Christ and the confidence of the Gospel Message of Jesus the Christ for salvation.) As has just been said: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.”
And in: Romans 6:22
“But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.”
So it safe to say, that the opposite of holy living is the sinful living, which reaps eternal death in Hell. The real thing is not cheap. The price is self. Give full, all of yourself to God. I remember the story Dwight Thompson spoke of many years ago. Dwight Thomson is a powerful man of God. A truly anointed preacher. He said, “I went to the coffee shop, as normal. Having coffee and reading my news paper. When a man in a wheel chair with no legs came up to me and asked me, ‘I hear that you are a preacher. I am Vietnam vet, and I want to ask you this: Can God save half a man?’ I looked at him square in the eyes, and told him, ‘Yes! God can save half a man. If that half of a man, comes to Him fully.’”As mentioned before and serves again as a reminder, in:
2 Peter 2:19-22
“for man is a slave to whatever has mastered him. If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the ways of righteousness, than to have known it and then turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: ’A dog returns to it’s vomit,’(found in the book of proverbs 26:11) and, A Sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud.’”
God Almighty promises, blessings. For those who repents. Those who turns back to God.
“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.”
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”
Christ Jesus is peering into our hearts, Judging the thoughts and the intent of the heart. Those who profess Christ Jesus as Lord. Those who profess to be Christians, now is the time to really consider the cost of following the real true Christ Jesus, and not the watered down powerless, universal, soft served; only loving, never judging, sin allowing false Christ. The word of God says and continues to say, and will always say, to the end, and never compromising,
“Anyone who loves his father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me; and anyone who does not take his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.”
And again, Matthew 16:24&25
“Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.”
God is weighing us on the scales. God is about to uproot those who are not right in His sight, and yet profess Christ Jesus. Who knows as well as God also knows, that you wont get right, nor want to get right. You who want to keep your sins and Have Heaven as well. But it does not work like that. That is called being lukewarm.
“These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. (that is Jesus the Christ, The Son of God.) I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of My mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ (Not even God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This also refers those who used God as a crutch to get wealth and material things.) But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. (sin blinds all and stripes us all to nakedness.) I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, (purity,) so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with Me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on his throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
As the Word of God also says, Luke 12:42-48
“The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the Master puts in charge of His servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whom the Master finds doing so when He returns. I tell you the truth, He will put him in charge of all His possessions. But suppose the servant says to himself, ‘My Master is taking a long time in coming,’ and he then begins to beat the menservants and maidservants and to eat and drink and get drunk. The Master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect Him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.”That servant who knows his Master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what his Master wants will be beaten with many blows. But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.”
Much is given. Rest, peace, blessings, the promised baptism of the Holy Spirit, the forgiveness of sins. And the list goes on and on. But it is not all that, that Jesus was teaching or referring. It is the very thing Jesus died for, gave Himself for: and that is to give us pardon, of all our sins, and to give us a right standing relationship with God His Father, through His blood, that was shed on the cross, for the remission of sins. For the remission of the penalty for our sins. Salvation another words, what Jesus was talking about here! Because much has been given to us. Much is now required of us. God expects from us, the manifest fruit of the Spirit in us and through us. And an abundant harvest of souls before the end…
A Vision From The Lord:
I had this vision, that the Lord had show me awhile back. And for the First time in a long time, the Lord had reminded me of it recently. This dream that the Lord had shown me, took place on march ‘04. I was playing with my two puppies at the time. And I sensed the presence of the Lord so strongly, His literal presence. I asked, ‘Yes Lord, what is it?’ And instantly the Lord shown me this vision. I will tell you the short version of it:
On the Alter, in the church I go to. The Lord Jesus the Christ appears in His full Glory. His glory was a bright light that was beaming out of Him in all directions. His glory didn’t fill the church up with His Holy light. Just at the alter area, as if the Lord Jesus was a veil, that separated the Holy, to the Most Holy place, like in the tabernacle of the Old Testament. I could not see His face, for His glory was bright. I can only make out his arms and His movements. As I looked to the congregation, I didn’t recognized anyone there. Not even the faithful were there. This troubled me.
As I looked to Jesus again, He stepped down from the alter and sat down on the step of the alter. He reached out His hands to the congregation and said “Come!” And there were many who ran to the alter without hesitation. I stood on His right through this whole vision, between the alter and the congregation. Witnessing everything, from the beginning of the vision, to the end. And as many people came into the arms of the Lord Jesus. His arms grew around them, bigger, and longer to embrace them all at once. As the people came running to Christ, as they touched His glory, grown people became little children, instantly. Men and women of all ages, before my very eyes of the Spirit. And they were all in joy, laughter. Giggling. Playing and climbing all over Jesus. And you can sense the strong love and bond from the Lord. But there were some who hesitated, for what ever reason. When they finally got up and started to casually walk down to alter from where they were sitting, the arms of the Lord started to close. As the people who hesitated, was getting closer to the Lord, their walk started to slow down with contorted movements. Their flesh turned to rot with each step closer. And before they touched the glory of Christ Jesus, they fell dead.
The interpretation of this vision came weeks after I asked the Lord about this vision continually. He said, “the congregation that you did not recognize, represents the church. The body of Christ. The arms of the Lord, represents the gates of Heaven. The people that you saw dying at the alter, are the ones who never gave their hearts fully to Me. These are the ones that are playing church. Who was never Mine. The day is coming, thus says the Lord. This day is coming!” Thus says the Lord O you nation of America:
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He chose for His inheritance.”
But the opposite is true. Cursed is the nation who goes astray from the Lord. Who turned their backs on the Holy God of Heaven. Who goes after Idols and continually searching for rest and comfort. Who sleeps in the bosom of whores. Who’s pride is their god. Who delights in evil and corruption. Who says, “evil is good and good is evil.” Who thinks that your riches will save you. Whom I have blessed abundantly, and you o man spits and mocks My face. But “draw near unto Me, and will draw near to you” And I will forgive your sins and remember them no more.
1 Samuel 12:13-15
“If you fear the LORD and serve Him and obey His voice, and do not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then both you and the king who reigns over you will continue following the LORD your God. However, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then the hand of the LORD will be against you, as it was against your fathers.”
“If at any time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned.”
This nation is a spiritual symbol of Babylon. This next passage of Scripture either symbolizes a nation or it refers to a literal nation in the end times, this also sounds like a symbol of the dead, secular church. The church of compromise. Church of sin. The church of satan, that masquerades it’s self as a church of Christ Jesus the Lord.
“After this I saw another angel coming down from Heaven. He had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor. With a mighty voice he shouted: “Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great! She has become a home for demons and a haunt for every evil spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird. For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries.” Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; for her sins are piled up to Heaven, and God has remembered her crimes. Give back to her as she has given; pay her back double for what she has done.
Mix her a double portion from her own cup. Give her as much torture and grief as the glory and luxury she gave herself. In her heart she boasts, ‘I sit as queen; I am not a widow, and I will never mourn.’ Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her: death, mourning and famine. She will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her. “When the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and mourn over her. Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry: ” ‘Woe! Woe, O great city, O Babylon, city of power! In one hour your doom has come!’ “The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes any more— cargoes of gold, silver, precious stones and pearls; fine linen, purple, silk and scarlet cloth; every sort of citron wood, and articles of every kind made of ivory, costly wood, bronze, iron and marble; cargoes of cinnamon and spice, of incense, myrrh and frankincense, of wine and olive oil, of fine flour and wheat; cattle and sheep; horses and carriages; and bodies and souls of men. “They will say, ‘The fruit you longed for is gone from you. All your riches and splendor have vanished, never to be recovered.’ The merchants who sold these things and gained their wealth from her will stand far off, terrified at her torment.
They will weep and mourn and cry out: ” ‘Woe! Woe, O great city, dressed in fine linen, purple and scarlet, and glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls! In one hour such great wealth has been brought to ruin!’ “Every sea captain, and all who travel by ship, the sailors, and all who earn their living from the sea, will stand far off. When they see the smoke of her burning, they will exclaim, ‘Was there ever a city like this great city?’ They will throw dust on their heads, and with weeping and mourning cry out: ” ‘Woe! Woe, O great city, where all who had ships on the sea became rich through her wealth! In one hour she has been brought to ruin! Rejoice over her, O heaven! Rejoice, saints and apostles and prophets! God has judged her for the way she treated you.’ “
Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder the size of a large millstone and threw it into the sea, and said: “With such violence the great city of Babylon will be thrown down, never to be found again. The music of harpists and musicians, flute players and trumpeters, will never be heard in you again. No workman of any trade will ever be found in you again. The sound of a millstone will never be heard in you again. The light of a lamp will never shine in you again. The voice of bridegroom and bride will never be heard in you again. Your merchants were the world’s great men. By your magic spell all the nations were led astray. In her was found the blood of prophets and of the saints, and of all who have been killed on the earth.”
Luke 15:1-32 The Parable of the Lost Sheep
“Now the tax collectors and “sinners” were all gathering around to hear Him. (referring to Jesus the Christ.) But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This Man welcomes sinners and eats with them.” Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
The Parable of the Lost Coin
“Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Does she not light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
The Parable of the Lost Son
Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them. “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
“When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired men have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired men.’ So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.
“Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing. So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on. ‘Your brother has come,’ he replied, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’ “The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’ ” ‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ “
Also there is one more warning left undone here. Jesus is coming back very soon. A few years ago, in the middle of the night, in the state between sleep and awake. I herd a literally an audio voice, that made me tremble. The voice had shouted with such fierce urgency, “I am coming back very soon! I am coming back very soon!” and that was it.
Those who die in there sins. Those who are unprepared for His return, or those who are not born again, will not enter the kingdom of Heaven, why? Because these were the foolish people who did not get prepared. It is written:
Mark 13 Signs of the End of the Age
“As He was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!” “Do you see all these great buildings?” replied Jesus. “Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John and Andrew asked Him privately, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are all about to be fulfilled?” Jesus said to them: “Watch out that no one deceives you. Many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and will deceive many. When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.
“You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of Me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them. And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit. “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. All men will hate you because of Me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. “When you see ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong—let the reader understand—then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the roof of his house go down or enter the house to take anything out. Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! Pray that this will not take place in winter, because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now—and never to be equaled again. If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, (the believers and followers of Christ Jesus,) whom He has chosen, He has shortened them. At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it. For false Christ’s and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect—if that were possible. So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time. “But in those days, following that distress, ” ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’
“At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And He will send his angels and gather His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens. “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. (referring to the restoration of Israel.) Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that it is near, right at the door. I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.
The Day and Hour Unknown
“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come. It’s like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with his assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch. “Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’ “
Mathew 24:36-25:13 The Day and Hour Unknown
“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; (being complacent;) and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
“At that time the kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the Bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The Bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the Bridegroom! Come out to meet Him!’ “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ ” ‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
“But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the Bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. “Later the others also came. ‘Sir! Sir!’ they said. ‘Open the door for us!’ “But He replied, ‘I tell you the truth, I don’t know you.’ “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.”
So how does one become prepared? Repent. Turn to the Lord Jesus the Christ. The only One who can save your soul, or perish!
