Colossians 2:11-13 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God (Romans 3:9-26) who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,

In order to grow and mature in Jesus Christ as new born babes and children of God, we need to learn what holiness is (the standards of God) in order for God to use us just like He used His disciples in the days of the Book of Acts. We must be circumcised in Christ, which is a biblical term for: “sanctification/separation” from the ways and patterns of this sinful fallen world. God will not use dirty, ungodly, unholy, sinful temples, but only those who will glorify the Most High God (The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) as our holy God.

God is calling all His disciples to be sanctified, in order to get our families, community and society ready for the appearance of Jesus Christ (the rapture). And as born-again children of God, Jesus Christ our Lord has given us the promised gift of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:11/John 16:5-15) to live this life holy and pleasing to God and to also walk in the power of God (Matthew 10:1-8). If indeed you were raised from the dead spiritually in Jesus Christ.

Therefore, He has given us the power, to lay down all sins, transgressions (rebellion), iniquities (wickedness) and all abominable sins (2 Timothy 2:29) so we can live the victorious life daily in Jesus Christ our Lord who saved us, set us free and set us apart for His use.

We are to glorify God with our mortal bodies whom were created as a temple for our Living God. God’s original design of our bodies was never meant to be vessels and instruments of sins, ungodliness, unrighteousness nor for any perversions. But was designed by God as His holy temple for His Holy Spirit to dwell in

Colossians 3:1-5 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.”

This message is the second part to: ‘Living The Powerful Life 101,′ is further instructions on how to the live the born-again life in Jesus Christ victoriously on a daily basis. All of us can live the life God our Father designed for us if, only we give our full heart and lives over to the Lord Jesus Christ. Washed in His blood, baptized in His Holy Spirit, and committed to following the Lord by His word/convictions and by walking in the Spirit of God (Galatians 5:16-25).

*01:49   Colossians 2:13-17
Misunderstanding and misquotations of the Holy Bible results in preaching, teaching and believing false doctrines. And those who defend this kind of ministering, always misquotes these verses “Jesus nailed all the law to the Cross.” But the reality of the matter is, the moral law was not nailed to the cross of Christ. For it still stands and we still must live morally right with God since light cannot fellowship darkness and sin separates us from an active relationship with God.

Sin is still sin today from the Old Testament through the New. What Jesus Christ nailed to the cross were the Priestly Laws, the Sacrificial Laws, the Ceremonial Laws (food, drink, festivals & Sabbaths) and the Purification Laws. And not all the Law is a Heaven or Hell issue except for “Moral Laws.” So we are still required and commanded by God to live morally right to glorifying Him as God Most High in our mortal bodies

*10:34   Colossians 3:1-2
The key to living successfully in the victorious life in Jesus Christ daily (in repentance and deliverance against all uncleanness, all ungodliness, all un-holiness, against all sexual immorality and all abominable sins), is through this passage of Holy Scripture, if you want to be liberated by the power of God. The Lord Jesus Christ made every way possible to be saved, delivered and set free from the slavery of sins of all types and shadows if you want and desire to be

*12:34   Colossians 3:5-10
A lot of Christians today are waiting for God to deliver them from worldliness, sins and bad habits of the flesh. Waiting for Jesus Christ to deliver them from the old man (sinful behaviors). But in reality, it is our responsibility to lay all that are not right in the sight of God. To put off the old man (v:10). God is waiting for us to lay all that hinders our relationship with Him through the power of the Holy Spirit.

If we were raised with Christ (Born-again) than God also has given us the power to lay down sins of all types and shadows, pick up the cross and follow the Lord in holiness, righteousness and in active faith as it is written: “Therefore put to death your members (sins) which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire and covetousness, which is idolatry” as a start.

True children of God overcome sins and temptations in daily victory in Jesus Christ to the very end (1 John 5:1-5). If we are truly born-again we no longer identify ourselves with the old man (the sinful ways and habits of the past) nor do we continue to live like worldly sinners and heathens who do not know God, but as born-again children of God who do know the One and only true God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob

*16:30   Colossians 3:12-17
This is how true born-again children of God live:
*Holy, merciful, kind, humble, patient (v:12)
*Encouraging one another, forgiving (v:13)
*Love God, love your neighbor, love the brethren (v:14)
*Being godly examples as ambassadors of the Lord Jesus Christ (v:16-17)

*25:42   Colossians 3:18-20
In marriage, we are to conduct ourselves at a higher standard in Jesus Christ than the world. A husband are to love their wife, and a wife is to honor their husband. This is God’s standards of marriage which He ordains and it is to reflect our relationship with God. These verses of Holy Scripture is a blue print of a home that knows, loves and honors the Lord. Anything outside of these standards is perverse and outside the will of the God

*26:03   Colossians 22-4:1
Even though the Holy Bible is clear that a “bondservant” is a literal slave. In today’s society this passage of Scripture would also translate instruction for “Employer’s and Employee’s.” How a boss should conduct Him/Herself in the work place, treating their employee’s right and fairly but also as with authority. While employees are to work honestly with quality work, as if working for the Lord. These instructions are guidelines on how to please God through our every day jobs.

*31:57   Colossians 4:2-4
Always be men and women of prayer. Ministry is birthed through fervent and effective prayers of righteous children of God. Praying for the workers of the harvest. Praying for the Holy Bible to be preached right and effectively with the powerful anointing and demonstration of God the Holy Spirit. When we are living in the will of God, there is nothing that will hinder God from using us.

All this, is a true reflection of our relationship with God our heavenly Father. And it all starts from the Heart, learning what is right in the sight of God and doing what is right from the heart. This is how we truly add to our faith: virtue, knowledge, self control, perseverance, godliness, kindness, and love (2 Peter 1:5-7). Learning and living the Holy Bible is the absolute sign of growth and maturity in Jesus Christ, to became more like Him. This is the true definition of Christianity in action (Luke 6:40/1 John 3)
