Revelation 1:1-3 Podcast

Revelation Is A Revealing of Mysteries

This study of the Book of Revelation is not only for all people, tribes, languages and dialects in the now. It is especially for people in the near future, who will go through the Great Tribulation period and wont know what to do when hell is literally unleashed upon all the earth soon.

The Book of Revelation is a blessing, a guide to the blind, and a dreadful warning all rolled up into one Book. It is a blessing and a comfort to those who are right with God and ready for God’s Kingdom come.

It is also a guide and a light for those who will dwell in darkness, lighting the way to salvation in Jesus Christ to the very end. But it is also a dreadful warning to those now and in the future who will reject Jesus Christ as Lord, personal Savior, and the worlds real Messiah.

The Book of Revelation is the complete, inerrant and totally infallible summation of all the Holy Bible. It’s thread of truth flows throughout from beginning to end. It answers questions such as, Who is Jesus Christ? Is Armageddon a myth or a fact?

What is the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ? And when will it happen? How will the world end? What are signs of the rapture of the church age? What is the second coming of Jesus Christ and what is it all about?

The Holy Bible from Genesis to Jude, is always looking to Jesus Christ and the end of all humanity as a warning and a testimony against all ages, of every tribe, language, nation and dialects; to repent and get right with God through the salvation of Jesus Christ.

The Book of Revelation not only, confirms what the Holy Bible has been teaching throughout the millennia’s, and pointing to what’s up ahead in the near future. But is also pointing back to Jesus Christ and His salvation plan all humanity needs, to be saved.

Filled with His Holy Spirit, written in His Book of Life, with His instructions on how to always stay close to God; staying right and ready for the coming of the Lord before it is too late.

These are just some examples of what is contained in the Book of Revelation. But there is so much more. The word Revelation means, “A revealing of mysteries.” King Solomon said it best this way in,

Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing. But the honour of kings to search out a matter.

As kings, priests and watchmen of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is our duty to seek and search out the meaning of a concealed thing in the Holy Bible.

Warning all humanity what’s coming ahead, while ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the salvation of all lost souls, whosoever wills to be saved. Showing people to the very end, the love, mercy and hope of God to a hopeless generation.

Since the Book of Revelation is full of the hidden mysteries of the Holy Bible and life itself, now revealed. And it is pretty simple to understand if broken down into sections:

Revelation 1 is a basic introduction of who wrote the Book of Revelation and who authorized it to be written. Which concurs with Revelation 4, revealing further the mystery of how the author received these revelations and who gave it.

Revelation 2-3 is about the church age before the rapture. It’s successes, failures and judgments pending. It also outlines the church age today (the great apostasy) and outlines personal warnings from the resurrected Lord, Jesus Christ Himself, how one can lose his or her own salvation, if one does not stay in a penitent life in Jesus Christ (Romans 1:18-32).

Revelation 4-5 reveals to us the further mystery how the author received these revelation’s and what he saw leading to the seal judgments which we are living today.

Revelation 6 is revealing what Jesus Christ ministered in part, of Matthew 24, “The Days of Sorrows,” which we are living in now. The 6 seal judgments are signs, pointing to the rapture of the church age.

Revelation 7 describes both Jews and Gentiles will be saved in The Great Tribulation period.

Revelation 8-18 is where “The Great Tribulation begins. And generally reveals in greater details, what will happen in that short period of time.

Revelation 13 reveals the rise of the antichrist, the son of perdition.

Revelation 17-18 further reveals the rise and fall of the antichrist system and nation. And how it will unfold, and who is really behind it all.

Revelation 19 is the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 20 the millennial imprisonment of satan, the millennial reign of Jesus Christ. The end of the world, and the final eternal judgment on all creation of God.

Revelation 21-22 eternity begins and the creation of the New Heaven and a New Earth without sinners, death or corruption is also revealed.

If you have read the entire Holy Bible several times in your life thus far, you can’t help yourself to form questions in your mind, “What is this passage or that passage about? What is the meaning of this?” The answer most likely will be found in the Book of Revelation.

In these series of studies, you will see this first hand. But I must warn you, this is not an exhaustive study, but it will help you get a real grip in understanding this vitally important Book.

We will go through this Book chapter by chapter, verse by verse teaching and preaching, according to the direction of the Holy Spirit. It is my personal hope that this series of studies will teach you how to study the Book of Revelation for yourself.

To edify and equip all Gods people with an urgency to get right and stay right with God. As well as adding to your faith, ever increasing knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Causing you to draw closer to Him in a real personal relationship; and stir’s us to preach His gospel like never before.

The Book of Revelation Proves God’s Omniscience

The Book of Revelation not only shows the love, mercy and seriousness of God, it also proves His omniscience. He knows what’s going to happen millennia’s before it ever happens in great details, only God can know.

And if some of you reading this blog, or listening to this podcast, and do not take heed of the warnings in this Book with all urgency to repent and get right with God now, while it is easy to follow and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. You will see first hand the unfolding of the Book of Revelation in stunning details.

My question to you is, “Will you then believe, repent and get right with God since seeing is believing? I hope you will.

Some agonistics or atheists may dare to argue, it is the Apostle John who wrote the Book of Revelation. So if these things comes to pass as he wrote, than John is a man with great special powers to see into the future, like Nostradamus or somebody of that nature.

No, the Apostle John had a real relationship and a close encounter with God literally, showing him what is going to happen, and inspired him to write under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, things humanity need to know ahead of time.

Nostradamus on the other hand, was a pagan, apothecarist/sorcerer and drug addict, whom while under the influence of hallucinogenic‘s, satan manipulated. Big difference between the two.

The Holy Bible is God’s way of showing us things to come, giving all humanity the way of an escape before it happens and that’s the point really, of the Holy Bible in every age. Especially the Book of Revelation. It is truly a love letter from God to all Humanity.

Take for example the dream of Nebuchadnezzar and the visions of Daniel. Put all these together and what you’ll discover, is the proof of God’s omniscience.

God has shown humanity then, the whole entire worlds History (worth mentioning), from the fall of king Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylon to the fall of the Book of Revelations Babylon, well before it started being fulfilled.

The Book of Revelation Shows The Love And Mercies of God

You see, God is loving and merciful! He does not desire that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Repent from sinning and turn to Jesus Christ and be saved before it‘s too late.

One way He demonstrated His love toward all humanity is by sending His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, to the cross. To save, deliver and set free His people from ours sins; and save us from the wrath of God to come on earth and eternity; 2000 + years ago. As it is written,

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

Another way He demonstrates His love today is by sending out His ministers to preach and teach the Gospel of salvation, the Gospel of repentance, the Gospel of holiness which is Jesus Christ’s full Gospel.

Another way He demonstrates His love towards us, is by raising up Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists and Prophets to live, preach and warn, with the absolute truth of the Holy Bible by the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Showing us the way to salvation through experience and revelation knowledge of the Holy Bible, under the convictions and correction of the Holy Spirit. Instructing us how get right and stay right with God throughout our walk with Jesus Christ the Lord.

And just in case that still was not enough, He demonstrates His love and mercy towards all humanity by revealing what’s to come. Warning all humanity what’s up ahead, way before it ever started to happen; and showing us the way of escape through Jesus Christ His only begotten Son.

You see, He went out of His way, made every way possible for us to believe, repent and be saved. To escape the corruption of this sinful fallen world, of Hell-fire and eternal damnation through Jesus Christ. By evidence of what the Holy Bible does reveal is in fact, the infallible, absolute truth from God Most High, our supreme God above all!

Demonstrating once again the love, mercy and compassion God has on all humanity. To reveal to us what is to come and how to get right with God and ready for eternity, when people see these things come to pass. Showing all humanity that there still is hope of salvation when being surrounded by hell on earth.

And that’s the absolute point of the Book of Revelation, the revelation that comes from God, to Jesus Christ our Lord. So before we begin, we need to first correct our understanding of the Book of Revelation. According to the Holy Bibles subtitle of this Book, “The Book of Revelation According John” or “The Revelation of Saint John The Divine.”

Yes, the Apostle John is the author of this Holy Spirit inspired, Book of Revelation. But above all, it is God who showed Jesus Christ; His only begotten Son; the risen and glorified Lord and Savior, who revealed these series of mysteries to John. So the correct subtitle in all reality of truth, is: “The Book of Revelation According To God Through Jesus Christ!”

Revelation Chapter 1:1-3 (A Blessing And Curses)

V:1-2 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto Him, to shew unto His servant things which must shortly come to pass; and He sent and signified it by His angel unto His servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

John testifies that God gave Jesus Christ these revelations contained in this Holy Book, to show all Christians what will come to pass. Using John to write and preach this word.

In fact The Holy Bible is a love letter to all Humanity, from God. Showing us His great love and mercy through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, His salvation plan. Which is the only way of escape from the wrath of God upon all His enemies.

The Book of Revelation shows Gods final call, final warning to get right with Him through Jesus Christ, in order to make Heaven your eternal home.

V:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Here, a spiritual blessing is given to those who take the time to read, hear and keep in our hearts, the words contained not only in the Book of Revelation, but the entire Holy Bible also.

It’s not specifically mentioned what the “blessing” is. I don’t like to speculate, but often times throughout the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John; when Jesus Christ speaks something really important, He will say, “Verily, Verily I say unto you,” or, “Anyone who have ears to hear, let them hear what the Spirit saith.”

It is His way of telling us, “Stop…pay really close attention to what I’m about to tell you! Meditate on this! hide this in your heart and understand it.”

With that being said, I personally believe this is Jesus Christ’s direction upon John, bestowing a blessing of spiritually hearing and understanding of every important word contained in the Book of Revelation.

In fact, your eternal soul depends on these series of wisdom, knowledge and instructions contained in this Holy Book. Because all that’s going to happen in this Book, WILL come to pass soon.

Notice, This verse does not discriminate anyone from receiving this blessing. It says, he that readeth, they that hear, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” This means God desires all to read the Holy Bible. All to hear and keep these words in this Book and understand it.

It is God’s will for all to understand His word. This is illustrated in Jesus Christ’s resurrection. When He appeared to His disciples, after He raised from the dead, He opened their understanding so they can preach the Gospel into all the world, as Jesus Christ instructed them,

Luke 24:44-48 And He said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning Me.

Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the Scritptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.

The point here is, It is Gods will that all come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and of the truth of His Holy Scriptures.

Proverbs 2:6 For the LORD giveth wisdom; out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding

Proverbs 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding

Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principle thing, therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

You see, the Holy Bible emphasizes on getting wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Because there are so many more Scriptures on this subject as important to the reader and hearer of the Holy Bible

So the point here is, if you do not understand the Book of Revelation, ask and seek God for understanding, and He will give it unto you, so you can respond to God, to the saving of your soul. Because understanding comes from the LORD!

Matthew 7:7-8 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For everyone that asketh recieveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Wisdom; knowledge and understanding also goes hand-in-hand. What is wisdom? It is obtaining knowledge and experience in something. What is understanding? It is the doing of something you know about.

And that’s what verse 3 is realy emphasizing here. You will receive a blessing from the Lord to obtain wisdom, knowledge and understanding to all people, men, women, and children of all tribes, nations, languages and dilects; who reads, hears and keeps the words contains in this Holy Book.

But it doesn’t stop there. With the blessings, also comes the warnings of curses that also need to be addressed here. God throughout the Holy Bible, sets before all humanity blessings and curses. He does the samething here; in the Book of Revelation. This Book starts out with a great blessing.

But it ends with a warning of curses, not just for the Book of Revelation, but of the entire Holy Bible as well. This is why curses are mentioned at the end of the Holy Bible. All humanity must take heed and be careful how we speak and handle the Holy Bible, especially the Book of Revelation.

Revelation 22:18-19 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this Book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this Book:

What Plagues? This in itself is a long and exhaustive study. So read this on your own personal study of all the plagues in the Book of Revelation chapters 6;8;9;10;16. All the plagues that came upon Egypt in the Book of Exodus chapters 7-10. Even all the curses in the Book of Deuteronomy 28:15-68, just to name a few.

And if any man shall take away from the words of the Book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this Book.

This is also telling us, anyone who takes away any words from the Book of Revelation, and from the entire Holy Bible; including those who preaches a lie, those who deliberately mislead people astray, using the Holy Bible to do so.

Anyone who is fearful and holds back the entire truth. Anyone who does not believe and receive the entire Holy Bible as the infallible, completely inerrant, Holy Spirit inspired word of God. Perverting it’s meaning or preaches another Gospel, other than what is contained in the Holy Bible, will be accursed:

Salvation will be taken away from you. This is why it is written, “God shall take away his part out of the Book of Life,” In order to make Heaven your eternal home, your name must be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life,

Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

This curse doesn’t stop there, your place in Heaven will also be taken away from you in all eternity, This is why again, it is written “and out of the holy city” So then, where will those who has taken away the words out of the Holy Bible, go, if not Heaven?

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.

All the blessings written in the Holy Bible will be taken away from you, and God will not remember anything you did that was good, holy or righteous according to His standards written in the Holy Bible. This is why again it is written, “and from the things written in this Book.”

Galatians 6:7-8 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
