Without faith it is impossible to be saved and justified! Without faith it is impossible to please God! Without faith God WILL NOT answer prayer! Active faith is the power behind all we do and believe as Christians, yet in this day and hour it is clearly obvious that the church lacks faith.

The Book of Acts, the first century church that Apostle James was actively involved in, is the plumb-line, the blue print what the church age today is supposed to look like in action, showing us where we are, reveals to us where we should be (spiritually) and what we are supposed to be doing today. Yet the church age in America today are far from being the glorious church that the first century church was. Jesus Christ asked this simple yet profound question in this parable of persistent faith:

Luke 18:1-8 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’”

Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?

So what is hindering this church age today from being the glorious church since the first Century? James prophetically ministers these issues we are facing today in chapter 1:
Doubt/Unbelief (Verses: 6-7)
Sins (Verse: 14-22)
Apathy/laziness (Verse: 22-25)

Not only that, but even the world also lacks faith. According to the Holy Bible, all has heard the Gospel Message of Salvation of Jesus Christ (Romans 10). Many has already rejected the facts that Jesus Christ is the worlds real Messiah. Many has already refused to believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to God our Father and to have eternal life (John 14:6).

And in order to be born again through God’s Holy Spirit, we must believe that Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha’ Mashiach), without any shadow of doubt, is the Savior; Messiah; Son of God who came to save His people (lost sinners and heathens) from their sins (Matthew 1:20-21), as our propitiation/atonement (Romans 3) for the remission (deliverance/forgiveness) of sins (Hebrews 9).

And it is only through His blood and by faith can anyone be justified (washed clean from the stain and guilt of past sins, transgressions (wickedness) and iniquity (rebellion) and made righteous in God’s sight (Romans 4-5).
