Opening Scriptures:  Matthew 24:9-12 (Hebrew JNTP) At that time you will be arrested and handed over to be punished and put to death, and all the peoples will hate you because of Me. At that time many will be trapped into betraying and hating each other, many false prophets will appear and fool many people; and many peoples love will grow cold because of the increased distance of Torah.

All the Lord Jesus did, the foundation is love, moved with compassion. Love and the anointing is the power behind all that Jesus Christ has done:

*Without holy love, the church age is powerless!
*Without Jesus Christ & His Holy Spirit, the church age is powerless!
*Without a holy clean walk, the church age is powerless!
*Without the holy Bible, the church age is pointless and powerless!

And we are living in a powerless church age today comparing to the days of the Book of Acts, the Book of Acts of the Holy Spirit. The Book of Acts is a plumb-line for the church age today

Acts 4:32-35 Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.  And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus.

And great grace was upon them all.  Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold,  and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.

Acts 2:41-47 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine (the New Testament we have today) and fellowship, in the breaking of bread (together), and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.

Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,  praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”

Fear About The Church Age Today

The word “Law” has become a bad word in the church age today and calling it “legalism.” Also redefining and perverting the word “Grace” as a license to sin.

Matthew 7:21-24 (lawlessness) Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’

And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness! “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:

Lawlessness: ‘Not regulated by authority of law, not in conformity with law, not obeying the law.’ (Webster’s Dictionary). Jesus Christ is the law and the Holy Bible teaches us to obey God, obey His Word. Jesus Christ is the Word of God manifested in flesh (John 1:1-14). In the church age today, the word “Law” has become a bad word in our Christian vernacular. But the reality is we are all bound by many laws in the natural

*Local, state & national Laws
*Law of gravity
*Law of physics (Etc, Etc.)

And in Jesus Christ we are still bound by “Moral Law,” Matthew 5:17-19 Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.

Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

What Did Jesus Christ Fulfill?

Fulfill: (Greek word “Pleroma”) ‘To do (a promise), to obey (satisfy), be made complete’ (according to ‘Webster’s New World Dictionary’)

*Prophesy (Messianic) birth, life, death, resurrection & ascension.
*Giving of the Holy Spirit (John 14;16/Hebrews 1;2 proves Jesus is the Messiah)
*Sacrificial Law

(Hebrews 4-10)

*Priestly Law
*Ceremonial Law (Colossians 2:9-17)
*Purification Law

But the Holy Bible never teaches that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the “Moral Law!” we have to satisfy the “Moral Law” daily in our obedience to God in holiness in Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit.

Walk in the Spirit and you will not gratify the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16)
Put away the foreign gods, purify yourselves, change your garments (Genesis 35:2)
Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12)

10 Commandments

The 10 commandments is the summation of all the “Moral Law.” The 10 commandments was given high upon Mt. Sinai, why? It is the supreme law above all laws, above all people.

*It is God given (Exodus 19-20)
*It is Holy (Romans 7:12)
*It is the knowledge of sin (Romans 7:7/3:9-20)
*BUT IT CANNOT JUSTIFY (Romans 3-5;8)

Yet it still stands as a living testament that still has to be obeyed (not to be justified) but as the result of our justification through the blood of Jesus Christ by faith

Romans 3:28-32 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.

Establish:  (Latin word “Stabilis”) ‘To order, ordain, or enact (a law) permanently.’ (according to ‘Webster’s New World Dictionary’)

*10 Commandments is written on stone (symbol of permanence)
*10 Commandments was placed in the Ark of the Covenant (Exodus 25:21-22)
*The ceremonial, sacrificial, priestly, purification Laws were place on the side of the Ark (Deuteronomy 31:24-27)

Exodus 20:1-17 And God spoke all these words, saying: (God is still saying, even today)

“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage (House of Egypt (Jews) house of bondage (Jews & Gentiles).
1).“You shall have no other gods before Me.”

2).“You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.”

3).“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.”

4).“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.”

5).“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

6).“You shall not murder.”

7).“You shall not commit adultery” (not only the act, but also Matthew 5:27-29).

8).“You shall not steal.”

9).“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.”

10).“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s” (Covetousness is the root to all sinning/example of king David & Bathsheba 2 Samuel 11-12).”

All born again children of God should know by memorization the 10 commandments because we still have to establish the Moral Law in the New Covenant of Jesus Christ. It is the foundation of our moral living/holiness living in Jesus Christ our Lord. Without Jesus Christ, keeping the moral law is vanity/legalism.

What is legalism? It is earning the right to something one is working for or towards. And if we love The Lord, than we still will establish the moral law, the 10 Commandments in our lives daily. This is how we live morally right and pleasing to God. Again faith without works is dead.

There are 3 revelations in the 10 Commandments:

*10 Commandments is the summation of all the Moral Law
*Church & State Law
*It’s also the love law

What are the Lord Jesus’ Commandments?

*Love God
*Love one another

The Lord Jesus Christ always pointed to the 10 Commandments in many of His teachings:

John 14:15 If you love Me, keep My commandments.

Matthew 22:35-40 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.

*How to love God (1-5 Commandments)
*How to love our neighbor (6-10 Commandments)

“This sums up the Law and the Prophets”
