Opening Scripture: 2 Peter 1:1-10 (10) Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

  • Good and descent people who do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will not enter Heaven. God charges all Humanity with the guilt of sins. No one is good, no one is righteous (Romans 3:8-10).
  • This includes those who were involved in accidents, victims of murder and even veterans who did not know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, who died before their time without repentance, will not enter Heaven.

Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.

Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.

To Those who knows and follows Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will enter Heaven!

John 3 (how to know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior)

  • Repentance turn away & denounce sins and the workings of satan
  • Believe Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior of your soul (v:15-18)
  • You must be born-again (v:3;5-8)
  • You must have a close and active relationship with God (v:11)
  • You must live a holy and godly life, keeping the fruits of repentance (water baptism) following Jesus Christ in the narrow way that leads to eternal life, the highway of holiness in the path of righteousness according to the standards of God by His Holy Bible (v:19-21)

(for the “believe” only people) Faith + action = proves our belief in Jesus Christ (James 2:14-26). Live and act according to the Holy Bible, with the infilling of Holy Spirit. The  evidence of godly and righteous living, are the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

The Sinful And Heathen Will Not Enter Heaven

1 Corinthian 6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind (transgender/sodomites), Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

Carnal People Will Not Enter Heaven

Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance (people who argue without reason or just cause),

emulations (jealously), wrath, strife, seditions (dissensions/rioting/protesting), heresies (deliberate false teachings), Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings (wildness and partying), and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Sensual People; The New Age Movement Will Not Enter Heaven

Ephesians 5:3-13 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

The Rebellious And Unbelieving Will Not Enter Heaven

Hebrews 3:12-4:6 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

While it is said, To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

But with whom was He grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

And to whom sware He that they should not enter into His rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into His rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

For we which have believed do enter into rest, as He said, As I have sworn in My wrath, if they shall enter into My rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

For He spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all His works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into My rest.

Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

The Backslider Will Not Enter Heaven

Hebrews 6:4-6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame.

The Loveless, Compromising, Corrupt, Dead, Lukewarm church Will Not Enter Heaven

The Final Eternal Conclusion

Revelation 22:14-15 Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

For without are dogs (backsliders), and sorcerers (spell and curse cast, divination, mind altering drug use) and whoremongers (sexually deviant and immoral), and murderers, and idolaters (those who prays and worships inanimate objects), and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie (liars and hypocrites).

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Yes, God blots names out of His Book who backslides and do not repent.

Exodus 32:33 And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against Me, him will I blot out of My book. “And the Lord said unto Moses, whosoever hath sinned against Me (rebellion) him will I blot out of My Book.”

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8)! God does not change (Malachi 3:6)! What was written in the old Testament still stands in the New Testament today.

Who Will Be Written In The Book of Life?

Those who repents and follows Jesus Christ as Lord, endures the presence of sins in this fallen world we live in, and overcomes temptations. And not yielded to the sinful nature of the flesh. To them will God not blot out from His Book of Life.

Revelation 3:5 “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels.”

We need to guard our hearts against the schemes of the devil and the hardening of life’s deceitfulness, holding onto dear life to Jesus Christ our Redeemer because our eternal life depends on this: “Make our call and election sure.”

By getting right and staying right with God through the blood of Jesus Christ and through the convictions of His Holy Spirit, in the fruits of repentance this day forward. Because we are living right now in the days of sorrows, where time is running out to be saved!
