Opening Scriptures: Deuteronomy 6:4-6 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

Ephesians 4:4-7 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

1 God (The Most High God & Heavenly Father)
1 Lord (The Son of God, Jesus Christ)
1 Spirit (The Holy Spirit)

Note this: “The LORD our God is one LORD” one with the Father and of His Spirit. They all agree with one another because they are one. So when The Father speaks, Jesus Christ agrees. And when Jesus Christ speaks, the Father agrees and the word is sent forth by the power and unction of His Holy Spirit.

Jesus taught us how to truly love Him, there is only one way. Believing is just the beginning of salvation, it’s not the final result. Applying and doing what the Word of God says equals faith and loving the Lord

John 14:15 If ye love Me, keep My commandments.

Jesus Christ points back to His Fathers Commandments when He ministered, “Keep My commandments.” Remember God the Father and His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ) agree’s with each other because they are one (unified).

Deuteronomy 10:12-17 is not only a requirement of the Old Covenant to the Jewish people of yesterday, it is really the summation of what the New Covenant (Christianity) through Jesus Christ is today,

Deuteronomy 10:12-17 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soulTo keep the commandments of the LORD, and His statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

Behold, the Heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD‘s thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is. Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and He chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.

Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked. For the LORD your God is God of gods, and LORD of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

Jesus Christ also taught this as well, because Jesus Christ agrees with His Father (The Most High God) and is pointing to what His Father had said and is saying to those who are called by His name, even in the New Covenant still.

God is no respector of persons! What He commanded the Jews yesterday, He is still commanding this for us today

Matthew 22:36-40 Master, which is the greatest commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

So if we truly love the Lord, we will keep His commandments. So what are His commandments? The 10 Commandments, Keeping the fruits of repentance, mature in the knowledge of God, living a holy, sanctified life according the Holy Bible, which are all His standards as true born again Christians, just to name a few.

But we cannot live according to God’s holy and righteous standards apart from being washed in the blood of Jesus Christ, baptized into His death (repentance) and born again by the Holy Spirit (raised to life as a new creation in Jesus Christ).

Therefore, Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross at Calvary to deliver us from the power of sin and death (Matthew 1:21).

Matthew 21:1-9 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the Mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her:

loose them, and bring them unto Me. And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.

All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set Him thereon.

And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.

And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

Hosanna: is a Hebrew word which literally means ‘help, rescue’ and that’s what the Jewish people were shouting out to the Lord, The worlds real Messiah (Jesus Christ) when He entered Jerusalem. ‘HELP US LORD, RESCUE US LORD!’ And that’s what Jesus Christ came to do, save His people FROM their sins!

John 8:34-36 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant (slave) of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

He came to this earth to give us complete victory over all sins all the days of our born again life in Jesus Christ, not to keep us bound in them. And He is our example of this very fact (Hebrews 4:14-15). How do we stay strong in the Lord and the power of His might?

Romans 6:1-14 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death?

Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection:

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him:

Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over Him. For in that He died, He died unto sin once: but in that He liveth, He liveth unto God.

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Jesus Christ is coming for a glorious bride without spot, wrinkle or any such blemish of sinfulness, of naughtiness, and or laziness. But having an active and close relationship with God. A bride adorned with His glory, power, purity and His beauty

1 John 3:1-16 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He (Jesus Christ) shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is (holy/pure in heart)

And every man that hath this hope in Him purifieth himself, even as He is pure. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin.

Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous. Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

So when we stop sinning and start living the life of victory, that’s when we start loving the Lord Thy God! Jesus Christ is our Shepherd. He leads us to the path of righteousness. To the highway of holiness. The narrow way that’s leads to eternal life as we learn of Christ, grow and mature in Him also.

Jesus Christ is coming back for His glorious bride and deliver her from the presence of sin, by taking her away from the corruption of this sinful fallen world. So therefore we must be ready because He is coming soon. This is how we truly love the Lord Thy God!
