There’s more to Christianity then just being saved. There’s more to Christianity than just being hearers of the Word of God, always learning, being schooled by God in His truth. Christianity is also applying His Word to our daily walk in the Lord Jesus Christ. In fact doing what the Holy Bible says is worshiping God our Father through the Lord Jesus Christ, glorifying Him as God.

Good works and Holy living is the result, the proof of real salvation in Jesus Christ. Faith + Action = Belief. Faith + Action proves living faith in Jesus Christ. Saving faith is living and active. Living faith is always progressive. That’s why we go from faith to faith, from glory to glory.

James 2:14-24 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” show me your faith without your works, and I will show you faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe and tremble! But do you want to know o foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the alter? Do you see that faith was working together with His works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scriptures was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And He was called the friend of God.

You see then that a man is justified by works and not by faith only. Verse 26: For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Mark 16:15-18 And He (Jesus Christ) said to them, (His disciples) Go into all the world and preach this gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. (John 3:17-19) And these signs will follow who believe: In My name (Lord Jesus says) they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will (Lord Jesus’ disciples) lay hands on the sick, and they (the sick) will recover.
