Colossians 1:9-12 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.

As we continue to grow towards maturity as new born babes in Jesus Christ, we need to know the will of God, in order to walk closer with the Lord Jesus Christ. There is an acceptable, good and perfect will of God (Romans 12:1-2) and the Lord reveals His will each step we learn to take, striving to be in the perfect will of God.

What is the will of God? The word will: ‘is to desire.’ God desires us to know Him. Live according to His Holy, righteous standards, and be happy and complete in Him lacking no good thing. Being His instruments of righteousness in His mighty hands for His plan and purpose in obedience. And be not only a disciple, but also an ambassador of Jesus Christ.

This study is not a complete and thorough study on the subject of “The Will of God.” But outlines the basics on what the will of God is:

*Salvation (relationship with God)
*Sanctification (holiness)
*Be hearers and doers of God’s Word
*Love & fear the Lord & love your neighbor
*Servitude
*Keep the Commandments of God

One of the will’s of God is to bear fruit of righteousness continually in our walk with Jesus Christ after we have been justified by His blood. And know the Truth, grow and mature in the Truth and examine all things by the truth of God’s one and only Holy Bible

Sanctification is also the will of God (be separated from all sinfulness and all worldliness for God’s use). Learning what pleases God our Father and learning to walk in the Holy Spirit of Power. Being transformed by the renewing of our minds in the Word of God daily. And being conformed more and more to the image and likeness of Jesus Christ.

*0:21:25   Colossians 1:21-23
“The once saved, always saved” doctrine is a lie and the Holy Bible here corrects us why you can loose salvation. The key phrase here in Verse 23: If indeed you continue in the faith.” We must continue in Jesus Christ. We must have an active close relationship with God our Father (Matthew 7:15-23) and walk as Jesus has walked (1 John 2-3) in order to make Heaven our Home.

Because in all reality we were bought at a price (1 Corinthians 6:12-20) through the Lord Jesus Christ’s blood. We are not our own, we are to live in and for God our Father through the Lord Jesus Christ who has redeemed, reconciled and adopted us as His own.

We are saved from the wrath of God (Hell) by His terms and conditions and not our own, just as His Word also warns us (paraphrasing) ‘God, who has grafted us in can also break us off’ (Romans 11). So we must live worthy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and not stay as spiritual infants. But raised to maturity in the knowledge and power of God, in order to be the glorious church and live victoriously always. We must know and live in the perfect will of God daily
