Jesus Christ is no longer on the cross, but you cannot minister about Christ without the cross. The cross was only the means for God to bless us with salvation through His Son. So don’t worship the cross. Worship Jesus Christ who died on the cross and raised from the dead in order to give us eternal life.

It is Jesus Christ who saves, not the cross. It is Jesus Christ who heals, delivers and sets free, not the cross. The cross is the alter that God used to bring blessings of salvation, repentance and of healing, prosperity and victory in Jesus Christ.

Opening Scripture: Psalms 138:1-6 I will praise Thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto Thee.

I will worship toward Thy holy temple, and praise Thy name for Thy lovingkindness and for Thy truth: for Thou hast magnified Thy word above all Thy name. In the day when I cried Thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

All the kings of the earth shall praise Thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of Thy mouth. Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: for great is the glory of the LORD.

Though the LORD be high, yet hath He respect unto the lowly: but the proud He knoweth afar off.

In verse 2, Father God Almighty has exalted His Word above Himself which is meaning both a literal and a spiritual sense. Literal meaning, He exalted His word (the Holy Bible) His promises both blessings and curses. They will surely come to pass!

Jesus Christ is also the Word of God manifested in flesh (John 1:1-14). That means God highly exalted the name of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ Himself at the cross.

Jesus Christ said, “If I am lifted I will draw all men to Myself” (John 12:32). And Jesus Christ has been exalted, lifted up at the cross to save human kind from their sins for those who believe.

God Almighty had led Jesus Christ to the cross to die in our place, to give us salvation and reconciliation back to the Father and to give us blessing we cannot contain.

We traded our death to receive His life. At the cross Jesus Christ was exalted. In Jesus Christ, and at the cross, is the death of sins.

Matthew 1:18-23 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as His mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with Child of the Holy Ghost.

Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

But while he thought on these things, behold, the Angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife:

for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a Son, and thou shalt call His name Jesus: for He shall save His people from their sins.

Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with Child, and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Father God Almighty highly exalted the name Jesus (Yeshua/Yehoshua). And that name has a very powerful meaning in Hebrew.

It means, ‘the Lord saves’ or ‘the Lord is salvation’. The word salvation have four root words in the Hebrew that brings forth powerful revelations of what JesusChrist brought forth:

Yeshuwah: Deliverance, healing, victory
Yasha: To make free.
Teshuwah: Rescue
Yesha: Prosperity

Jesus Christ died on the cross for the remission and deliverance of sins. Selfishness, self will, selfish ambitions (Matthew 16:24-25) were all nailed to the cross with Christ. He also nailed to the cross, carnality, sensuality and worldliness!

Colossians 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Covetousness is the root to all sins and sin is idolatry which is the worship of the flesh! Worship of carnality! Worship of worldliness which is wildness, partying, drug use and divination, is all worship of satan!

Therefore at the cross is not only the death of all sins, carnality, sensuality, worldliness and rebellion, but it is also the beginning of a new Life in Jesus Christ! The beginning of real Christianity. The cross represent the cross-over from death to life!

The Red Sea crossing (Exodus 3-14), where the Jews crossed over from death (bondage and slavery) to life (the promised land). There were two tree’s in the Garden of Eden: The tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (tree of death).

The tree of death is where all humanity gets this sin nature from, through the rebellion against God of Adam and Eve. This is why God charges all humanity with the guilt of sins.

Jesus Christ was nailed on a tree (the cross). Death of our past sins, to the beginning of our new life in Jesus Christ our Lord. The tree is where Jesus Christ made the way to eternal life through His salvation, you see it’s a full circle,

1 Peter 2:23-25 Who, when He was reviled, reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not; but committed Himself to Him that judgeth righteously:

Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by Whose stripes ye were healed.

For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

Therefore Jesus Christ and the cross is the gateway to real Christianity, John 10:7-9 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I Am the door of the sheep.

All that ever came before Me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I Am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

The sheep’s pen Jesus Christ refers to here, is Heaven itself. And Jesus Christ is the means to enter into the kingdom of Heaven. There is no other way to eternal life!

There is no other way to be saved, delivered, set free and healed! Jesus is the only way, the truth and the Life!

The word “Christian” was originally coined in the church of Antioch of Turkey (according to Acts 11:26) And it means, ‘Christ ones;’ ‘A person who is Christ like;’ ‘A person who knows Jesus Christ as Lord and follows Him;’

‘Jesus Christ anointed;’ ‘A person being fashioned and molded into the image of Jesus Christ (an ambassador/a true representation of Jesus Christ).’ And that’s what Jesus Christ calls us to be.

So the Word of God shows us what true Christianity is. You can define it in any way possible, but Christianity is more than just mere words, it’s a life style. It’s the way of life in the Lord Jesus Christ! It’s the very life of Jesus Christ our Lord!

Philippians 3:8-15 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

And be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
