Committed Fully To God

We as Christians must pay a price to know Jesus Christ as Lord. He Taught this, in one of His teachings. Jesus Christ is the seed, that was planted in the ground, who expects a harvest from us, by His work through us (fully committed to Jesus Christ with all our hearts)

John 12:23-26 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of Man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall also My servant be: if any man serve Me, him will My Father honour.

Jesus Christ is not a free trial offer. And this Generation of churches in America today is treating Jesus Christ as a free trial offer without repentance.

And this is why we are not seeing the manifestations of God like we used to back in the days of Charles Finney and Daniel Nash. Even the 40’s, 50’s, 60‘s, 70‘s. We must be completely and morally committed to God.

Faithfulness And Walking Close With God

When you are close to Jesus Christ, He considers you His friend, John 15:14-16 Ye are My friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you (obedience). Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of My Father I have made known unto you.

Abraham is our perfect example of this close relationship with God that Jesus Christ ministered here about. Abraham was a “friend of God” (James 2:23). He walked close with God and was faithful, therefore God revealed mysteries unto Abraham

Genesis 18:1-17 And the Lord appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three Men stood by him:

and when he saw Them, he ran to meet Them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in Thy sight, pass not away, I pray Thee, from Thy servant:

Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash Your feet, and rest Yourselves under the tree: And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort Ye Your hearts; after that Ye shall pass on: for therefore are Ye come to your servant. And They said, So do, as thou hast said.

And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.

And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.

And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before Them; and He stood by Them under the tree, and They did eat.

And They said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent. And He said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.

Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?

And the Lord said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And He said, Nay; but thou didst laugh. And the Men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom:

and Abraham went with Them to bring Them on the way. And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;

When your close with God, you are considered His friend. You hear His thoughts. He lets you in on some of His mysteries beyond the Gospel, He is no respecter of people.

He will give you great and mighty mysteries of the Gospel in order to better understand salvation, so we can tell others more clearly the Gospel message of Salvation.

This is another reason why the church age is in confusion. Because they are never faithful to God, as a result, they never get to know God beyond the surface, nor has God given them true revelation of truth from His Word. Faithfulness grounds us and roots us in God and His word.

Obedience

Obedience brings a greater anointing. And God used Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, to demonstrate this point. Jesus Christ just finished being led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness for 40 days.

The devil tempted Him during this time and after that, Jesus began to preach repentance and healed many sick and cast out devils.

He did not preach, healed and cast out devils until after spending 40 days in the wilderness, fasting and praying and overcoming the devil in all his opposition,

Matthew 4:11-25 Then the devil leaveth Him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto Him. Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, He departed into Galilee;

And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;

The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea:

for they were fishers. And He saith unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.

And they straightway left their nets, and followed Him. And going on from thence, He saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and He called them. And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed Him.

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. And His fame went throughout all Syria:

and they brought unto Him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and He healed them.

And there followed Him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.

The greater anointing… When all hell breaks loose, God knows you are ready for the next level. Its not that He is preparing you to go through it, He already knows you are going to succeed.

That’s why He allows it to happen because He knows you are ready for the next level. Because the next level is more cruel.

Trials and tribulations strengthens our faith. And He shows us what we are made of and capable of in Jesus Christ. But apart from Jesus Christ we are nothing and can do nothing.

And with obedience comes sensitivity in the Spirit of God. Not just sensitive to His directions in His perfect will. Or sensitive in how to do things and say things God’s way. Or sensitive in the gift of discernment.

But even sensitive in discerning the things that bother God greatly of what we consider “small things” that we do.

Jesus Christ is returning and we are to get ready and stay ready, get right and stay right with God. Learning to quench not and grieve not the Holy Spirit.
