Are You Acceptable Unto God Downloadable MP3 Podcast

In our last season of ministry, God has been dealing with us all how to be ready for eternity, by giving your heart to Jesus Christ, deny yourself, pick up the cross daily and follow Him. Mortify all sins of the flesh in order to be right with God and ready. For these days is a great reminder that death can come suddenly, whether a person is right with God or not.

Jesus Christ has already warned all humanity 2000 years ago what will be in these days now that will cause sudden death to random people all over the world, as it is written

Matthew 24:4-13 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for My name’s sake.

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

We are living those days now that Christ describes of what He calls, “The days of sorrows.” Through all this, God is still working to draw people to repentance and draw people closer to Himself. To the Christian who are right with God and ready for eternity, Jesus Christ concludes these signs saying, “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh (Luke 21:28).”

But for the sinner, its your warning to repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand. Get right with God through Jesus Christ and get ready in order to make Heaven (see also The  Signs of The Rapture of The Church Age). This is the same message Jesus Christ has preached around April 2000 thousand years ago (Matthew 24:36-25:46).

With all that being said (talking about deception that can lead to spiritual death), There is a false doctrine of “easy believe-ism “ that’s plaguing the church age today. This “new gospel” that’s being preached states, ‘‘you will be saved if, you “accept” Jesus Christ into your heart.’ There is no where in the Holy Bible that teaches such fallacies. This is mans vain attempt to lower the standards of God to bring people salvation. This is not salvation at all.

God is not desperate for you to be save, by lower His standards. His standards remain the same (the path of righteousness, the high way of holiness, the narrow way that leads to eternal life) The Holy Bible does teach, God is the One who accept us. Are you acceptable to God?

In this day and hour we must, at all cost, be acceptable unto God first, in order for God to receive us as His son’s and daughter‘s. Lets examine this closely, 2 Corinthians 6:17-18 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

God did not say, ‘I will receive you, I will accept you first, and then touch not the unclean thing.’ No, He says first, “touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive (accept) you”

Notice, God spoke in a specific order here. In order to be Gods sons and daughters, we first must forsake the world and the sinful ways thereof. To sanctify ourselves means to set our selves apart for Gods use. Because He will not use a carnal and sensual vessel, “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate.”

Then repent from sinning, “and touch not the unclean thing;” After that, then He will receive you and be a Father unto you and, then ye shall be His sons and daughter saith the Lord Almighty. The word “shall” used here doesn’t mean you will be His son’s and daughter’s. Rather, “you shall be,” based upon you meeting His terms and conditions.

A lot people wants to be saved and have fire insurance from Hell-fire and damnation. So many has “accepted” Christ as their Savior. But few wants a Lord. Few will follow Jesus Christ and submit under His Lordship to be saved (Matthew 19:16-30)

How many are acceptable to God? There is only one type of ground God accepts in His mission field. People are ground in His mission field, whom the sower scattered seed, but only good ground God accepts, because good ground is workable as Jesus Christ taught in,

Matthew 13:3-4 And He spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

Jesus Christ explains this in Matthew 13:18-19 Hear ye therefore the parable of the Sower. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

Matthew 13:5-6 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

Jesus Christ again explains this parable in Matthew 13:20-21 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

Matthew 13:7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

The Lord Jesus Christ gives further understanding on this parable Matthew 13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

Matthew 13:8-9 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

And lastly Jesus Christ explains the acceptable, workable ground in Matthew 13:23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

The sower scatters seed on all ground because the sower does not discriminate the ground. You see, the seed is the word of God; the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. The sower is a minister of His Gospel. The ground are souls of all peoples, tribes, languages and tongues. And Jesus Christ here specifically teaches those of good ground receives the word, and understands it.

Understanding is not just perceiving and comprehending what you hear, but also is a doer of what you hear. That’s what bears fruit:

  • Fruits of the repentance (Luke 3:8)
  • Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)

This is what God only accepts in the end, good ground, because good ground is workable. And that good ground when it becomes fruitful, it will becomes holy ground. The doctrine of demons would have you to believe we are the ones that need to “accept” Jesus Christ as if He is an alternative without repentance.

But the truth is, it is God who accepts us. And what are His terms to accept us as His sons and daughters? By being righteous through the blood of Jesus Christ, holy and acceptable unto God

Roman’s 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Too many “Christians” today are lowering the standards of God to be saved which is no salvation at all. Real salvation is based upon God’s standards, terms and conditions and not our own. Too many people are adding acceptance of Jesus Christ to their sinful lifestyle in stead of repenting from sinning. You see, Jesus Christ desires for us to repent from sinning and follow Him as Lord as He has taught,

Luke 9:23 And He said to them all, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

Deny and take up the cross means to mortify the deeds of sinning. The cross is the symbol of death to sin. That’s why it is written forever, Romans 6:6-7;11-13 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

It is also written, Colossians 3:5-6 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

In living the new life in repentance, it is only then Jesus Christ brings us to that place, by our obedience, to be accepted and acceptable unto God,

Ephesians 1:3-6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the Beloved.

Hebrews 12:25-29 See that ye refuse not Him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused Him that spake on earth much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from Him that speaketh from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now He hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.

So that eternal question still remains upon us all, Are you acceptable unto God?
