Ministers Notes:

People are fearful in this day and hour, and they have every right to be. Because a lot of people don’t know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and are afraid of death.

To the Christian who knows Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and knows where they are going after this life: Our last breath on earth will be our first breath in the Kingdom of God. This is why Christians have nothing to fear. And God does not give us permission or the right to be fearful (Revelation 21:8).

Not only that, the Holy Bible also teaches us “Fear not;” “Do not be afraid” 365 times because there is nothing to fear if your right with God and have a close relationship with Him.

In fact, Jesus Christ ministers all that’s going to happen in these day’s now, and instructs us, “Be not troubled” in, Matthew 24:4-8 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

If there is a message to gain from today’s current event’s, you need to get right with God now and be ready for eternity as Jesus Christ continues to minister (Matthew 24-25).

Opening Scripture: James 4:8-10 Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.

Drawing close to God is being close to God in relationship. Our salvation is hinged on our relationship with God. If that were not so, than Jesus Christ would never had ministered,

Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.

Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? And in Thy name have cast out devils? And in Thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.

What is Iniquity? Rebellion; sin; selfishness. The very opposite of denying yourself, pick up the cross and follow Jesus Christ. To follow is staying close to the Lord (reading and studying the Holy Bible, prayer). Seeking God’s face is seeking relationship with God

2 Chronicles 7:14 If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Humble: Is to draw close to God. Getting to know God in personal fellowship

James 4:8 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.

Lift you up to Himself
Lift you up in spirit
Lift you up in countenance

The more you know God and the closer you get to God, less and less fearful you will become in anything. Nothing will move you. God desires His children to draw so close to Him that you become one flesh just like our earthly marriage.

Jesus Christ is our perfect example for us to follow. He says, “Believe, that the Father is in Me, and I in Him (John 10:38).” “I and My Father are one (John 10:30).Jesus is in the Father (obedience). The Father is in Jesus Christ (blood and Spirit). Jesus Christ and the Father are One (one mind and one accord).

If you want the protections and the blessings of God. Your going to have to draw close to God, repent from sinning; rebellion; laziness and do what the Holy Bible say (obedience).

Psalm 91 is a reflection, our example how our intimate relationship with God is, a reciprocal relationship:

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.

Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the Most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

“Because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known My name.

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him My salvation.”
